Fall Days are My Favorite
It's been a fun fall so far! Mom thinks it's really fun to dress me up in all sorts of silly outfits and take my picture. Of course, she pretty much caters to my every need so I play along.
Mom carved this spooky spiderweb pumpkin that I just think is hilarious. But don't try to eat it, I promise it isn't tasty.
Daddy and I spent some time playing in the yard. I was showing off my new sitting skills for all the neighbors and since they were taking pictures of me too, I was sure to showcase my extra big grin.
My aunt Jessica gave me and cousin Ansley these matching halloween onesies. I obviously love it...either that or I'm laughing because mom put on my ballerina socks with a jack-o-latern shirt.
We spent last weekend at the State Fair in Raleigh with some good friends. Peyton & Chris have two friends for me to play with...Ryan & McKay and one new little boy on the way. Mommy thinks McKay is really handsome...I think boys are a snooze. But I loved looking at the animals and watching all the crazy fair people. And I especially loved my new warm, snuggly outfit and hat from daddy.
Here we are in front of some really loud rides that mommy says I'll never be able to ride because they aren't put together properly. I'm pretty sure Mamaw Dianne gave her that tendency to over-worry about things.
We spent Friday night in a hotel and I decided this would be the perfect time to sit up indefinitely. I could have sat there all night if mom hadn't been so excited that she picked me up and was attacking me with kisses! Oh, and fortunately I don't throw up when I'm sitting like a big girl anymore.
My new favorite thing to do is roll to reach my toys. I don't care how many times I have to roll from belly to back, back to belly, if there's something fun I want I will go for it! Here I am after I had just reached my favorite toy, Sophie the Giraffe. And what did mom do, hold it up to capture a picture. I decided to pose really cute the 1st time so I could get Sophie back.

Leslie & Abigail on our picnic. Right before Abigail filled her diaper & Leslie's lap :)
Wendy, Ansley, Tiff, Abigail & Jessica from the bottom looking at the climb ahead.
Dad helped me out by carrying Abigail part of the way. Hiking 5 miles carrying a 15 pound baby is exhausting!
Abigail & Mommy decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather by spending a couple of days in Boone. We had such a great time, as always, visiting with everyone and just relaxing! Abigail loves playing with her cousin Jackson and she tried really hard to teach Ansley how to talk, but she was still a little too young. We decided that a hike to the top of Stone Mountain would be a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Abigail didn't sleep the entire time, in fact, the only sound that came from her was a lot of jabbering to the trees. She loves being outside!
We're blogging...
Sorry Mark...I had to :)
Apparently blogging is the new cool thing to do, so here we are being sheep & trying to fit in. Instead of inundating your email inboxes with hundreds of pictures weekly, I thought I would just update this and everyone can check in on Abigail's newest tricks as time permits. She's growing and changing so much and we know that no one wants to miss these moments, so we'll do our very best to share them with you. If only there was a way for me to share all of the middle of the night feedings...
We all know that mom has a tendency to be a bit camera happy, so if you're one of the 2 people who haven't mocked me and would like to continue receiving entire albums via email let me know and I'll happily send them out. Otherwise, check here often. I'll keep you all posted on Miss Abigail's big adventures.
All is well with the McDaniel clan. Mark is working hard and almost fully recovered from back surgery. Despite the doctor's orders I'm sure he'll be pounding the pavement soon. I'm working part time from home and spending way too much time dancing/singing/acting like a crazy person just to see that beautiful smile. Abigail is rolling and has discovered that squealing at the top of her lungs makes mommy freak out...a trick she practices often to see if mom's on her toes. She finds it quite amusing. She's learned to sit up for short periods of time by herself, but for some reason this always makes her vomit a little so we don't encourage it. The doctor assures me it isn't a problem :) Abigail is quite the talker and honestly Mark and I are shocked that our daughter has so much to say!
So that's it for now. We're alive and well. Love to you all!
Mark, Tiffany and Abigail
